Vince Gilligan is the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Gilligan has written, directed and served as an executive producer on the aforementioned shows.


George Vincent Gilligan Jr., the elder of George Sr. and Gail Gilligan's two sons, was born Feb. 10, 1967, in Richmond, but spent most of his childhood in Farmville.

Before Breaking Bad, Gillgan also worked on The X-Files and The Lone Gunmen. He is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
