    • Curious at how you arrived at that number?

    • We can easily include the people on the plane.

    • jesse's body count is just about as high too then

    • Now that is where I'm curious. Jesse isn't anywhere involved in the deaths of people as Walt has been. The earliest is that Walt actually killed both of the men that attempted to steal his recipe, down the road later he killed Jane, indirectly killed the people on the plane, killed even more down the road. I have to get some proper calculations soon. Walt is responsible for the death of Gale, although Jesse is involved in it as he is the one who executed him.

    • what i'm saying is it's all relative.  if you claim walter to indirectly be responsible then you can also do the same for jesse.  walt killed krazy-8 and emilio, but jesse set up the meeting in the desert.  jesse killed gale, but walt convinced him to.  walt let jane die, which led to her dad causing the plane crash, but jesse is the one that got jane into doing heroine again (which caused her death).  walt ran over two people with his car but it was because jesse was going to die in a shootout with said people.  spooge might not have died if jesse didn't go to their house to get his money back, but walt is the one that told him to "handle it." jesse had combo sell meth on the street corner and combo ended up being killed by andrea's brother.  andrea's brother was killed due to jesse's response to gus' dealers using children.

i could keep going, but i won't. you can make a connection with those deaths to walt and jesse in some way.  my point is that it's unfair to tie walt to all those murders without holding jesse accountable as well.

    • I guess you do bring a good point. Jesse is responsible for a bunch of deaths, even though he has no will to do any of the deaths that he did with the exception of the two guys who supposedly murdered that kid.

He didn't kill Jane, not saving someone isn't the same thing as murdering them no matter how you try to construe it. You can also say Jesse "indirectly killed" the people on the plane as it was him who got Jane hooked on meth and heroine again. There is no logic in pointing fingers at someone in the show as responsible for unintended and surprising consequences unless they ordered it willingly.

    • Walt did not kill those people on the plane. Jane's dad did and it was an accident/nervous breakdown. If you're going to stretch culpability that far, why not blame No-Doze on him? No super meth, maybe Tuco doesn't go as crazy. Walt and Jesse are responsible for the violence done by people tweaking out on their drug, I guess. Jesse killed Spooge, too. If he doesn't go to their house, she doesn't smoosh his head.

the people on the wiki like to say that Walt indirectly killed everyone on the plane, since he chose not to save Jane which caused her father to be griefstricken and crash the two planes, so that is 167 right there.

Plus Emilio Koyama and Krazy 8 - 169 [2 direct]

If you count Jane - 170 [stood by]

The two drug dealers he ran over - 172 [4 direct]

When he ordered a hit on Gale to Jesse - 173 [168 indirect]

Gus Fring, Hector Salamanca, and Tyrus - 176 [171 indirect]

      Mike Ehrmantraut - 177 [5 direct]

The 9 Hazard Pays (or prison squealers) + Mikes distributor of the Hazard Pay - 187

So I count 187, 5 directly murdered by himself the other 182 indirect

If you don't count the plane crash, then 20, 5 direct and 15 indirect, which is a more rounded number.
