Jesse's Toyota Tercel: Hatchback or Wagon?

  • OK, I'm not finished beating this issue to death yet. :) I've spent more time trying to confirm whether Jesse drives a hatchback or a wagon. Looks like that generation Tercel was available as a 3-door and 5-door hatchback, as well as a 5-door wagon model. The hatchback was not limited to a 3-door design as I stated earlier. But I'm not sure if both hatchback and wagon were available in 4WD versions. Jesse's Tercel has 5 doors, is 4WD, and I'm pretty sure it's the wagon. I'm open to evidence showing otherwise, am still researching. :) As far as how it's been referenced in the show, if they called it a hatchback I suspect that was an error. • Hahaha right on. I admire your dedication to this aspect so much that I'll accept whatever you think it should be referred to as, its your call. TheNarrator 23:37, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
  • According to Screenbid.com the website that sold Jesse's car, and its Experian report, It is a 1986 Toyota Tercel DLX 4 door wagon with roughly 180,823 miles on it when it was registered in 2009 to Sony Studios. Cr8meone 05:22, October 9, 2013 (UTC)
  • Great. This should go on the 1986 Toyota Tercel page. Mitchellrj (talk) 12:18, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

Treated like an Animal.

Jesse was likened to a Rapid Dog that needed to be put down by Saul Goodman, and the metaphor didn't end there. At the end of Ozymandias a stray dog crossed the road, which was confirmed to be symbolic of Jess being left behind, also the term "in the dog house" perfectly fits Jesse's situation. In addition to this, Todd directly treated him like a dog, by rewarding him for cooking such high quality meth. Also when Jesse escaped, from the pit and ran, a dog can be heard barking, and he tries to make himself seem bigger and more threatening which is what dogs do when they are in trouble, (also let's not forget the blowfish.)

"Timmy Dipshit"

Does that really count as an alias? It's just a passing mention by Hank.Teslashark (talk) 16:19, January 24, 2018 (UTC)
