Crystal Blue Persuasion[]

They finally came around to feature Crystal Blue Persuasion. Detective Gustafson (talk) 16:51, September 3, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, but when exactly during the episode was the Squeeze song?? DCGO (talk) 03:21, September 4, 2012 (UTC)

Solved: Question about summary[]

"Walt brought a white power - probably the poison Lily of the Valley - but did not use after accepting Lydia's offer."

Uh, isn't it the ricin? It shows him putting it back behind the socket. (Ripsteakjaw (talk) 10:29, September 4, 2012 (UTC))

Pics[]

Yo, Ohmyn0, you mind grabbing a few screenshots of Walt standing alone during the prison sequece, specifically, the shot of his silhouette looking through the glass? Appreciated...

Oh yeah, and a couple of shots during the "Crystal Blue" sequence of Walt in his Heisenberg attire too. Thanks again TheNarrator (talk) 00:05, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Year[]

The article states that the episode takes place in 2010. The Pilot (and Walt's 50th birthday) takes place in 2008. A year later (Walt's 51st birthday), and it's 2009. The article for "Live Free or Die" also lists the flashforward as taking place in 2010 (since Walt is 52). {{SUBST:User:ObiDanKenobi5/autosig}} 05:04, September 4, 2012 (UTC)

Yet everyone is driving brand new challengers and chryslers? I don't think they're putting that much effort into making the show take place in a specific year. Why are people so adamant it takes place in 2008 anyway, just because that's when the show first aired? (Ripsteakjaw (talk) 10:29, September 4, 2012 (UTC))
It doesn't matter what year it takes place in -- it's intentionally ambiguous. The cars are for product placement, obviously. I'm thinking of making a "Timeline" article that lists all the evidence and incongruity of when the show takes place. ---- Trevor (Ohmyn0) 21:05, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

Pick Yourself Up / Start All Over Again[]

The song title of the Nat King Cole song is not "Start all over again", but Pick Yourself Up, and it's played by George Shearing and Nat King Cole ... just fixed that :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pick_Yourself_Up (sorry forgot to sign Sickboy83 (talk) 16:09, September 6, 2012 (UTC) ) :)

Thanks for the fix! -- Trevor (Ohmyn0) 21:05, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

Symbolism behind Hank finding out about Walt?[]

I believe there is some significance behind the way Hank found out about Walt at the end of the episode, and I'm surprised no one has pondered this thus far. So, of all the ways Hank finds out, its whilst hes squeezing out a huge log (so huge that he couldnt wait to get home). What could this mean? Could his faeces coming out of his rectum possibly represent the 'birth' of '****' hitting the fan? Mature responses only please.

Could be. I would argue that this chance finding was written to echo the last time Hank almost found out about Walt's secret. Remember when Hank found the second cellphone in the toilet tank? Prinr (talk) 05:47, March 30, 2013 (UTC)
