The Ruger SP-101 is a series of double action revolvers produced by the American company Sturm, Ruger. The SP101 is a small frame and all-steel construction carry revolver, with a 5-shot (.38 Special, .357 Magnum, and 9x19mm Parabellum), 6-shot (.327 Federal Magnum and .32 H&R Magnum), or 8-shot (.22 LR) cylinder. The SP-101 is manufactured in .357 Magnum, .38 Special, .327 Federal Magnum, and .22 LR. Barrel lengths 21⁄4" (57.15mm), and 31⁄16" (77.79mm) with full underlugs. 4" (101.6 mm) with half underlug.

Season 2

The Ruger SP-101 was purchased by Jesse Pinkman in order to protect himself from Tuco Salamanca, but since Jesse didn't know how to use the gun properly, Walter White took it away from him and hid it inside a nappy box in his house ("Seven Thirty-Seven"). Walter later gets back home to hide the weapon inside a vent, preventing Skyler White or Walter Jr. from finding it ("Bit by a Dead Bee").

When Spooge and Spooge's Lady rip off one of Jesse's dealers, Skinny Pete, Walter gives the gun back to Jesse, telling him to "handle it" ("Breakage"). Jesse uses the gun to intimidate Spooge and his Lady to give back his drug and money, but the gun was never used, despite Spooge being killed by his own wife ("Peekaboo"). Later, Jesse tries to give the gun back to Walter, but he refuses to take it back, leaving it at Jesse's apartment ("Negro y Azul").

After Jane Margolis's death from overdose, Mike Ehrmantraut is sent to collect any crime evidence inside the apartment to avoid suspicious from the police. The Ruger is taken away with the rest of the drug evidence ("ABQ").
