The "Rival Dealers" are two street-level crystal meth dealers who call shots for a street-gang that controls Gus Fring's turf in Albuquerque. They are an intimidating pair, with mask-like faces of death and tragedy.
Season 2
When Combo is caught selling on one of their corners, they have him shot dead in the middle of the street by a 11 year-old boy named Tomas who belongs to the gang.
Season 3
It is revealed that the rival dealers work for Gus because they're pushing Walt's "Blue Sky" meth. After learning from Andrea that Combo's murder happened a block away, Jesse Pinkman investigates the dealers in control of the corner and even buys some meth from them to show Walt. With no help from Walt, Jesse plans to assassinate both dealers as revenge for his friend's murder and using his girl's 11-year-old brother Tomas to do it. He uses meth to bribe Wendy, an addict he crashes with, to deliver them a fast food bag with burgers laced with the ricin he's made. The plan is ultimately discovered by Gus and – not wanting three of his employees to kill each other – intervenes and holds a conference to settle the dispute. Gus had them compromise: Jesse must promise to keep the peace and not seek retaliation, and the "Rival Dealers" agree to stop using children as drug pushers and killers, telling them, "No more children."
That night, Tomas is gunned down, both to silence him and to bait Jesse into crossing Gus by retaliating. They could then kill him as revenge for targeting them and avoid punishment from Gus.
The following evening, both dealers arrive at the disputed street-corner, the murder scene of both Tomas and Combo. Cranked up from a fresh bump of blue sky, Jesse leaves his car in an alley and begins walking toward their car, armed with a pistol and bracing for a showdown. Both dealers step out of their vehicle and stand expressionless fingering their weapons as Jesse steps to them.
Just as they move to draw their guns, a dreary beige Pontiac Aztek barrels out of nowhere flattening the "Rival Dealers." Both are neutralized and when the car comes to a stop one goon is pinned under the wheel. Walt, Jesse's only ally, steps out of the driver's seat to find one goon crushed beneath the wheels. He jogs over to the other goon, who is reaching for his fallen pistol but Walter beats him to it and immediately executes him with a single bullet to the head.
Trivia
