We've talked about cleaning up the Character template at some point, and I was wondering how we were going to incorpate the employees with the offshore bank accounts from Season 5 into this, since they all have character pages, have all appeared in multiple episodes, etc.
I was thinking that if we created a page to talk about all of them (which could then be used as a hub to link to the specific character pages), that could be the one to show on the character template. This is similar to how both of the Cousins are shown together on the character template.
I wouldn't know what to title the page, but it's just an idea for some cleanup.
I watched the wikia webinar about promoting your wiki recently and was thinking of setting up an affiliates program for Boardwalk Empire wiki. Would you guys be interested in swapping links between the two wikis?
I think we should make a page for "the painting," the one Walt sees in the doc's office in the first ep, then is in his apartment, then recently in the hotel room where Walt met with Todd's people.
You mention in Hanks bio that he misses his brainless job VS hunting monsters. The job Hank was describing is known currently as Timber Cruising. In Hanks time, he would have had to do all the math(trigonomerty) for the basal area factors, heights, widths, board feet, etc without use of the electronic devices we have nowadays. Most Cruisers have a college degree in Forestry. Timber logging is not as hap hazzard as environmentalist would like to believe. It takes many surveys by cruisers regarding the health, age, size and potential board feet (which requires a lot of math), species, environmen/subspecies, plot locations, etc. When Hank was doing this, there would not have been GPS assistance or laser rangefinders or clinometers. I believe Hank was referring more about the serenity of being out in the woods than the brainlessness of the job in general.
If you go to 4:00 ish, this college tutorial vid gives you n idea how it was done back in 1978, about the time Hank might have been getting in to it.
True. While doubtful he has a college degree aside from criminology, one can see with his attention to detail and deductive talents that he would have been an excellent timber cruiser.

Yeah, I read on Screenrant that Dean Norris wanted to be killed off once he found out there was two parts of Season 5, he wanted to do a pilot for another show if I am correct, and asked Gilligan, glad Gilligan said no! I wanna see Hank and Walt fight big time! Like Walt and Jesse did in Bug
Do we list single episode guest stars and characters?
I have just created Michael Bowen and Jack and Kevin Rankin and Kenny but wasn't sure whether to add them. Characters in particular is looking cluttered already.
Oh by the way, if you add double asterisks in MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation, you'll be able to put all the episodes of seasons 2, 3 and 4 instead of putting 9 and the "more" link.
Yes, I've seen that before but didn't know that the guys in custody had names! Looks like we'll be seeing more of them in the next episode, so I'll wait until it's over before updating any information.
Dude, you are IN MY HEAD haha. That was, more or less, the exact frame I was gonna use for a pic of Lawson, but your image is definitely a lot cleaner.
I just had completed a marathon of the first four seasons so I have them all on my harddrive (and in my head) so I can get any screencaps. Like this beauty:
