Season 1[]
Carmen attended the surprise party for Walter White's 50th birthday. She talked to Skyler about her pregnancy and met Marie Schrader for the first time. ("Pilot")
Carmen is later introduced as an assistant principal. She is served as a substitute teacher for Walt's chemistry class and informs them they are going to watch a video regarding carbon. ("...and the Bag's in the River")
Carmen entered Walt's class to inform him that his brother-in-law, Hank Schrader is visiting him. After she leaves, Hank comments on her buttocks to Walt that it's comparable to an onion. ("Crazy Handful of Nothin'")
While Walt is on sick leave to undergo chemotherapy, he attends a meeting of faculty and parents at her request to discuss the arrest of a school janitor in connection with the theft of chemistry equipment from Walt's lab. ("A No-Rough-Stuff-Type Deal")
Season 2[]
On his first day back from leave, Carmen says she prefers his new bald-headed look, and that he should feel comfortable coming to her if he's having any problems. ("Peekaboo")
Season 3[]
After the Wayfarer Flight 515 disaster, Carmen calls a school assembly for students to discuss their feelings. Walt fidgets while students discuss the devastation, at one point grumbling "Jesus H. Christ." Hearing this, Carmen encourages Walt to express himself. ("No Más")
A short time later, Carmen calls Walt into her office to discuss his erratic behavior. "I can't begin to understand what you're going through," she says, but then reminds him of their responsibilities as educators. Moments later, Walt awkwardly tries to kiss her. Carmen backs away. "What's wrong with you?" she shouts. Later that day, Carmen places Walt on indefinite leave. ("Green Light")
Season 5[]
Carmen receives a call from a woman who poses as Marie Schrader; Carmen brings Walt Jr. to her office, explaining to him that his aunt is on the phone before leaving. After Walt Jr. discovers that it is in fact his father on the phone, he begins yelling obscenities down the line, prompting Carmen and some fellow staff to rush to her office, watching in shock as Junior hastily hangs up in anger.
